Where should you go for your next holiday?

Lately I’ve been going traveling more often and for longer periods, and lately mostly to the same places… The main reason for it – I’ve gotten kind of used to these locations (Portugal and Malta, mainly). The positive bit about it is that I know some people there, I know where to find things, I know the best pubs, I know what times it might make sense to get a hotel, and when a room at an apartment – and of course, where to find them.

Knowing these things help a lot in feeling at home. Yet, these same old, same old, things, can also cause your vacation/holiday, to start being more like not a vacation or a holiday, but just time living in a different place. It’s not bad, but it’s … different. Depending on what you’re looking for.

The reason of feeling you know the place already is one reason to visit the same places again, and again, and again.
