Visiting India is an amazing travel experience due to its cultural treasures and spiritual mysticism.

If its vast territory (India ranks seventh among world countries by geographical area), or the ever increasing number of its population (about 1.2 billion inhabitants), or the title of the most populous democratic country in the world will not impress you, then surely the cultural heritage of a country inhabited for over 9,000 years will convince you that India is a travel destination that can amaze anyone with its beauty.

India is certainly difficult to discover just in a few visits, but it will undoubtedly impress you at first sight. Throughout its history, which measures millennia, India has seen many golden ages – especially in antiquity, under leaderships like that of Emperor Asoka or during the Gupta Empire – when science, engineering, art, literature, astronomy and philosophy have known an extraordinary development.

When Visiting India you will be walked on that cultural heritage path that has been so well preserved by its people.

Indian richness of cultures was summarized in a memorable phrase by American writer Mark Twain: “India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grand mother of tradition.”

There are so many tourist places in India that you should visit but time is of the essence so I will try to give you some key points to mark on your  travel guide to India.
