When it comes to great getaways, you can always rely on finding a great vacation in spain. Let’s face it, there’s good reason why Spain is one of the most popular and best-loved holiday destinations in Europe. It’s got the cities, the beaches, the weather and the culture. From sun-baked sands to sparkling seas, siestas to sangria – there’s so much to love in this wonderful destination.

Lots of ways to ensure great Spain vacations! the mainland, Benidorm in the Costa Blanca region is an eternal favourite. It’s not for everyone, but for those who love cheesy nights out and plenty of English pubs, it’s certainly a winner. Pretty much anything goes here – you’ve got karaoke and quiz nights by the bucket load, cringe-worthy stage performances, Seventies nights, fancy dress, cabaret, the lot. It’s like Blackpool with sunshine. But there’s another side to the Costa Blanca – and you’ll find it in the gorgeous Old Town of Alicante, in the local villages that serve up tasty tapas and sumptuous paella, and in the rolling hills and lush valleys just a few miles from the coast.

Spain is a country of contrasts, and that’s what makes it so special. The Balearic Islands are another versatile holiday destination. You’ve got sleepy Menorca, which is famed for its laid-back pace and relaxing vibe. There’s Ibiza, with its world-famous nightclubs and family-friendly coastal resorts. Then there’s Majorca – possibly the most diverse of the lot – which offers everything from city breaks and clubbing holidays to rural retreats and big family fun. Thanks to the popularity of these islands, they’re often affordable too. From cheap holidays to Menorca and discounted trips to Ibiza, there’s virtually something for every taste and budget imaginable.

Another place not to forget on the mainland is Barcelona which is rich in culture, nightlife and of course sandy beaches and lots of sun. There are several beaches in the city and also countless other beauties not far from town. Besides the beaches, be sure to enjoy some of the great cuisine and world class nightlife.

If you’ve got sun, sea and siestas on the agenda this summer, which Spanish hotspot will you choose?
