Do some Soul Searching in Kuala Lumpur

For those who are going through a tough time, travelling is a great way to get a handle on things again. It’s easy to get bogged down under work pressure and busy schedules. Getting away for a while can help you open your mind to new experiences, and new ideas as well.

A beach in Malaysia
Browse through the lists of cheap holidays available and check out Kuala Lumpur. Not only is it a culinary capital, but a centre for leisure and entertainment as well. It combines grandeur and relaxation in a really unique way, making it one of the most desirable cities to visit in Malaysia.
Kuala Lumpur is well known for its Islamic architecture, particularly in the area surrounding the Masjid Mosque. If you have a bit of free time, visit the Museum of Islamic Arts, which houses Southeast Asia’s biggest collection of historical Islamic artefacts, more than seven thousand pieces, and an excellent library.
The Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is famous for the Petronas Towers, which are two huge sky scrapers; apparently the tallest twin buildings in the world. While these are well worth the visit, consider stopping by the Old Central Station, which is located near the National Mosque. It used to be the only station for city transit, although that changed when the KL Sentral was built. It is an architectural marvel, and the lack of bustling commuters gives it an air of tranquillity.
