A Review of TravelMatch.co.uk
As we are a dedicated travel site, we get a lot of people emailing us asking us which travel sites we use, and which sites we would recommend. This may seem like a very simple question, but the huge number of options out there has made it quite difficult to find one which stands out. With that in mind, here is a look at one of the many travel websites out there.
So Who is it?
Our first subject is a British travel site called Travelmatch. Their specialities are holidays to Greece and Spain, though they cover a wide variety of destinations. The site can be found at travelmatch.co.uk.
What’s so Special About it?
Travelmatch isn’t your ordinary, run-of-the-mill online travel site because they do not operate like a travel agent. Instead, they act as a price comparison site, which enables users to save time and money when searching for their next holiday. This means that they can present you with a wide variety of options, and help you find what you are really looking for.
How Does it Work?
Their booking system works by matching your priorities with different hotels and locations: you simply give them your preferences and proposed dates of travel and their search engine comes back with many different results which you can choose from. You can input criteria such as temperature, activities and food requirements allowing you to narrow your search results down to hotels which suit your needs perfectly.
How Easy is it to Use?
To put it simply, it’s very easy. The website is simple to navigate and you can also find specific accommodation, such as the Blue Lagoon resort in Kos by searching for it individually. Prices and the length of holidays are prominently displayed in each result, which breaks down all the important information, such as airport and board basis.
Should You Use it?
First of all, I should confess that I have already used it. Would I use it again? Probably, as it is very easy to work and provides decent options for holidays to many different destinations. The deals are significant, and you get everything that is advertised – so all in all this is a good site to use when booking a holiday.
